The German Society of Sport Science (Deutsche Vereinigung für Sportwissenschaft, abbr: dvs) is a federation of researchers active in teaching, research or practice, and it was founded in Munich in 1976. The mission is to encourage and support research in sport science.

The Research Center ‘EDUFISADRED’ – Estudios en Educación Física, Salud, Deporte, Recreación y Danza (Studies in Physical Education, Health, Sport, Recreation and Dance) since 2001 has been developing research activities in an interdisciplinary approach from diverse sciences areas that support the world of the bodily-physical culture. Its members also have been played active roles and advisors in national and international projects with government and NGO organizations. The academics incorporate PE and Sport specialists but also physicians, psychologist and historians. The center has it is own journal Actividad Física y Ciencias

Sport Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences (SERS) at Canterbury Christ Church University have a national reputation for excellence and innovation for our research in the spheres of sport, physical education, physical activity, leisure, events and heritage. Our work has made a significant contribution to evidence base, particularly around the physical activity, health and wellbeing of children and young people, hard to reach and less active populations. Federal Institute of Sport Science

The National Association of Women Physical Activity and Sport, was estabilshed on April 11. 1993, initieted by Pr. Dr. fatima EL Faqir (PhD) former African champion and holder of African record in 400m hurdlers. The association is a non-Governmental organization, created in order to meet the real needs of Moroccan Women and raise their level based on the access of Women in all areas of sports mouvement..The goals of the association :1, Resorting to sport and physical activity as one of the basic human rights and a tributary to sustainable development of childhood and youth.2/ Organizing periodic campaignsto raise awarenssof the importance of sports practice in various institutions for children and youth.3/ Adopting recommandations, statemenst and decisions related to women and physical activity , especially ( Brighton Declaration (1994); Windhoek Call,( 1998); Oman Statement “Accept and Respect”, (2008), while working to activate them in Morocco.

The promotion of sports at universities is enshrined in law. University sports are primarily aimed at university members and contribute to quality of life and identity. They are characterized by a comprehensive understanding of sport and physical activity. Educational and learning opportunities are inherent in university sports offerings. University sports are an indispensable part of university life. The General German University Sports Association (adh) is the umbrella organization of its member universities and their university sports facilities. It represents their interests and advocates for the development of university sports locally, nationally, and internationally. The adh therefore operates at the interface between sport and education. In fulfilling its tasks, it considers sociopolitical contexts and takes a position on the resulting issues. The adh is actively involved in organized sport at the national and international levels.
