Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Sport Research Institute

UAB Sports Research Institute of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (IRE-UAB) was created in January 2020 as a UAB institute with an interdisciplinary nature that brings together, coordinates and potentiates ongoing and new sport-related research lines, educational programmes and knowledge transfer activities. It is based on the rich UAB historical capital in sport-related academic activities and university services for more than 30 years. Its mission is to contribute to the creation of a healthy, cohesive and sustainable society in a global and changing context and respond to the needs of our economic and social environment, through interdisciplinary research in sport, knowledge transfer and the training of professionals. IRE-UAB gathers 41 academic staff from 15 UAB Departments, more than 20 trainee research, research support staff and project collaborators, and a strong local and international network of institutional academic relations. IRE-UAB carries out research in 11 specific areas based on interdisciplinarity and social relevance. Research lines range from physical activity to communication, high performance, education in sports values, sport management and law, sustainability, history or data engineering. In addition to research, the UAB offers a wide range of doctoral, undergraduate and postgraduate activities in sports and Olympics, as well as other educational and dissemination activities in order to transfer knowledge to a wider audience and other players in the sports sector.

Faculty of Sports Science UNIVERSITAS NEGERI SEMARANG (FIK UNNES) has 6 study programs, e.g: Physical Education, Sports Coaching, Sports Science, Public Health, Nutrition, and Physical Education for Elementary School. The PE study program has been certified at the ASEAN level by AUN QA. and The Sports Science study program has been accreditated by AQAS. The University is also the only sports faculty from Indonesia, which has been a member of the ACPES (ASEAN Council of Physical Education and Sports) since 2012. Currently, cooperation partners come from 12 countries, including countries in Asia, South East Asia, and Europe. The University is very open to collaborating in the field of human resource development, research, lecturer and student exchanges, as well as in the field of community service.
