World Snowboard Federation

The World Snowboard Federation (WSF), founded in 2002 in Prague, is the world’s only umbrella organization for snowboarding with a membership comprising 45 national snowboard associations across the globe. In 2017, the WSF moved to Innsbruck, Austria and adopted its new strategy focussing on grassroots, youth and Sport for All within the culture of snowboarding. The Vision and Mission of the WSF is to promote the sport of snowboarding as a recreational and leisure sport (Sport for All) in the interest of all snowboarders – especially as a healthy activity for children and youth. The WSF gives a fresh perspective to the mass market to aide in the spread of the snowboarding culture by information and operational programs and projects. Through exchange of information between its members and the collaboration with academic research projects the WSF maintains, increases and diffuses knowledge of Physical Education in Snowboarding and strengthens grass roots snowboarding.

World Pahuyuth Federation (WPF)

The WPF is an independent non-governmental, non-profit and apolitical international organization having sporting aims. The WPF as a world governing body for Pahuyuth sport controls the Pahuyuth activities in the world. WPF’s activities are based on amateur sport and sport for all, with respect to ideals of democracy, solidarity, and principles of human dignity, which does not discriminate in any way whatsoever on the grounds of gender, age, race, and cultural provenance of religious beliefs.

World Flying Disc Federation

The World Flying Disc Federation is the international sports federation responsible for world governance of flying disc (frisbee) sports, including Ultimate, Beach Ultimate, Disc Golf, Freestyle, Guts and Overall Events. WFDF is a federation of 105 member associations that represent flying disc sports and their athletes in over 102 countries. WFDF is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and it is a member of the Association of Recognised International Federations (ARISF). WFDF is a member of GAISF and the International World Games Association (IWGA), TAFISA and IMGA. It is also a signatory to the World Anti-Doping Agency Code. WFDF is a registered not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation in the state of Colorado, USA.

Willibald Gebhardt Research Institute

The Willibald Gebhardt Institute (WGI) is an International Institute of Research and Knowledge Transfer in the fields of Sport and Sport Sciences. It was established as a non-governmental and non-profit institution at the city of Essen (Germany) on May 5th, 1992. According to the constitution of the WGI, its purpose is to support human tasks and social targets of physical activities including health-related fitness and ethical-morale principles in sport activities. This purpose is linked with a holistic approach of education for a well-rounded individual, particularly for children and adolescents in their main settings of living and development: in families, at schools, within sport clubs in the context of recreational and elite sports.
